I've tried different ACPI fixes and boot options etc but cannot get my sleep to be fixed as well as my USB 3.1 gen 2 port.
Using terminal and some pmset -g commands or whatever, I have deduced that it is probably the USB drivers that are causing the sleep wake issues, such as starting up...
I was recently handed a Hackintosh from work and it came with Sierra. I took it upon myself to try and get it up to the latest Mojave build. It's been quite a bit of trouble as I have had to guess most of the time. The only relatively consistent method that has worked for me is...
Does anybody have an USB SSDT for the Gigabyte GA-Z170X-ULTRA GAMING?
I tried to go through RahabMan's guide but it's too complicated for me. And since 10.14.1 my USB 3.0 and 3.1 ports are not working, so I had to roll back to 10.14.0.
I actually found some other guides, even pre-made SSDT's...

The motherboard I'm using is the Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 5. It has the Thunderbolt header so I can use an add-in card. Some motherboards come with USB 3 on them but they...
I've just recently performed a fresh install of High Sierra overwriting my existing Sierra Install. This installation is on its own SSD. The High Sierra installation so far appears to be running fine without too many hiccups.
I also had a Windows 10 installation on a separate SSD which was...
I have a strange problem when I turn on my hackintosh. I am stuck about 4 minutes at this screen before showing Clover.

If I wait these 4...

My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z170X...
