Hello! I have installed the Intel Power Gadget utility and i've realised that my CPU peaks at 3,7GHz on load instead of 4,9GHZ (turbo boost speed).I have attached my EFI folder.Could anyone give me some advice? Thank you!
So, I upgraded my Pentium G4600 to a i7 7700K on my High Sierra Hackintosh today and I decided to run some benchmarks.
Cinebench results (2nd and 3rd results) were below my expectations and the standard results for a 7700K (1st result).
I decided to check the temps while running Cinebench a...
Hello to all, I think i ended the setup of my hackintosh, but I'm not sure, and here's why. Audio/Graphics/HDMI/HDMI_Audio/Keybord/TouchPad/WiFi/Bluetooth all of them works fine. My only "problem" is CPU when on 100% doesn't reach his maximum frequency and stay stucked on 2800Mhz instead of 3100...
Hello everyone! I have a working 99% hackintosh, the GTX 1080 does not work, there are no drivers, and I do not read the cpu temperature, and the turbo boost does not work ... How can I do?
I've attached my EFI folder
Hello everyone, I have this wonderful laptop for 2 years, works perfectly if not for some overheating (80-90 ° C).
Now I want to ask kindly if someone can tell me how to disable the CPU boost turbo function, I tried disabling the function from the bios but when I try to start macOS he keeps...
Hey,
So I recently noticed that my i7 4790 (Not K) Isn't getting to a turbo boost frequency of 4.0Ghz but rather topping out at 3.8Ghz
Is there a solution to this? I assume it has something to do with the iMac 14,2 SMBIOS I am using and the slightly different CPU choice from a 4790K which...
Hi, I have installed macOS 10.13 High Sierra (clean install) on my PC and @RehabMan Kexts to monitor temperatures and other stuff with HWMonitor. I'd like to avoid the processor to reach 4.4GHz in order to reach a maximum of 4.1 GHz, but I'm unable to do it! I tried the following:
Disable Intel...
Hello everyone!
I updated to Sierra via Clover and everything is working fine exept the Turbo boost of my Ivy bridge i5-3570K on Asus Z77.
I have tryed the changes from this thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/turboboost-not-working-after-updating-to-sierra.202895/
Tried MacPro5,1 and...
Hi guys, I've had this issue for as long as I can remember running OS X and I gave up on it and haven't cared to resolve it until now. My CPU doesn't clock up to 3.4GHz like it's supposed to under heavy load, such as when I use the "yes" command to stress the CPU. The base frequency is 2.7GHz...
I've spent ages trying to figure this one out, have searched the forums, tried the SSDT + kext patch method outlined in a few different posts, have tried a number of BIOS settings... but nothing I try is enabling my CPU's frequency to go past 3.4GHz. I've got an i7-3770 which can turbo boost to...
Hey guys,
Been running OSX 10.8.3 on my Acer E1-571 8gb ram, i5 3rd 2.5ghz, intel 4000hd for almost 3 months now! with not one major hiccup! i just want to enable sleep and the native cpu power controller..
So on my system, im using no DSDT (as there is no need, plus i haven't got any idea...
For some reason Turbo Boost is not working properly. If I set EIST to Auto or Enabled, it won't go past 3.4GHz, if I disable it, it will throttle from 1.6GHz directly to 3.8GHz, so even if I try to set a higher multiplier, it won't work as I want.
I want it to go from 1.6GHz > 3.4GHz > 3.8GHz...
Hi,
I'm step by step making my way toward overclocking, but I'm new to the Hackintosh world. Today, as part of this project, I installed hwmonitor and learned I was stuck at 1.6 GHz on my i5-2500K, so I installed the SSDT for "Sandy Bridge Core i5" (description: "Optimized SSDT supporting Sandy...
Please help need DSDT / SSDT for Gateway FX6831, is there any way to get the intel Turbo Boost working?
I'm running Lion 10.7.4 and kinda lost with all the dsdt information, I've read both DSDT guides with not much luck. If I could find a decent 1156 socket board that was supported I would...
