Hey!
My new hack is working OK, however, I do notice CPU temperatures rising pretty fast (45- 55 degrees) when I'm not really doing any heavy stuff. My PWM CPU fans start to spin even when I'm only looking at some 4k footage, let alone edit it. I'm using the i7 6700k aml file that was provided...
Hello,
I installed El Capitan 10.11.6 on my Asus Z9 PE-D8 WS / 2X 8cores Xeon E5 2670 v1 (Sandy Bridge).
nullpowermanagement is installed.
I tested speedstep following that link. It returned two values 12 and 26 that looked correct.
I wasn't sure about the only two values then i followed...
Hay guys, I need help patching my SSDTs. I have gone through several posts, and the only thing I've been able to do so far, is obtain the SSDT files via RWEverything(windows).
I'm editing it using MaciASL tool, and since my hackintosh can't connect via Wi-Fi, I'm
running a VM image for patching...
I have been messing with my Asus Q501LA for about a week to get it to work with Sierra (had it running Yosemite following RanbirAulakh guide). Now I do have a different Wi-fi card (Bcm94352HMB) and 12gb of ram (instead of the stock 8gb that came with mine), but Yosemite worked fine with that...
I have the following setup:
X9Dai, 2 x E5-2690v1 (Sandy Bridge)
Definition: MacPro 6,1
Everything works fine with no SSDT and NullCpuPowerManagement.kext, but the performance is a lot lower than it should be as a result. I've been pulling my hair over this for the last month. I can't seem to...
I've got this old box running Sierra just fine, but there's one final feature I had in El Capitan that I'm trying to enable: power savings.
In El Capitan, using the old MacPro3,1 sysdef, it was enough to simply set the GenerateCStates and GeneratePStates flags to 'true'. That doesn't seem to...

I'm new to Hackintosh. However, I have Sierra 10.12.2 running on my desktop.

Hi,
I ran into a few issues installing Sierra on my machine. I was using Unibeast (UEFI mode) and the installation ran just fine, no issues whatsoever. Post installation didn't go as well unfortunately. As far as I know, booting into the system is only possible with the -x flag (and removing the...

So I have this El Capitan USB lying around for when I decide to jump from Windows to OSX every now and then.
But now with Sierra I am facing a couple problems. I have a Celeron G1840.
I Can't reach the installer because it either gives me a nanoseconds error or a panic 0 thread error.
