I'm wondered, I have readed that in 10.9.2 most X79 CPU's now have SpeedStep working OOB, and some other people say that's wrong. I have noticed my CPU (3930K) actually change frequencies, but not sure if that means I have SS enabled features. Is there any new information about it?

Hello, every time I boot (verbose) I get the message that my cpu is not supported by osx and speedstep (and sleep etc) do not work. I have to mention, i only have 1,6 or 3,5 ghz (no turboboost, even if I overlock to 4,2 osx only uses 1,6 or 3,5) Can Chimera fix this? best xtrasteven

I have been building my hackintosh and installing mountain lion however, when I open about this mac it displays my i7-3930k as an unknown cpu and in hwmonitor it shows the cpu at 1.2ghz. The cpu should be at 3.2 ghz so i'm losing quite a lot of power. . Thanks for the help
