Would love to hear your feedback re:GPU's on a 9900k-based Music Production rig. The following parts below are everything I'm heavily considering, the biggest questing mark at this point being GPU's. Video editing is not something I do often, and I get by pretty easily on my 2015 Retina...

After much consideration I've decided that I want to move to a Hackintosh for my main computer, however I just wanted make sure that the parts seem compatible and that my interface along with my DAWs and plugins will also be compatible and any snags I should expect to see.
I know that my problem doesn't directly concern the Hackintosh and some will surely tell me that it doesn't belong here.
But since my computer is a Hackintosh, chances are I'm getting rid of Logic or Apple forums.
I just hope there are Logic users here who can help me.
Since the beginning of...

I've been playing with the idea of making a hackintosh for work(music production) for a while now. My 4 year old macbook pro is starting to slow down on me when I'm working with bigger music files and I'd rather just have a dedicated computer for beat making and music editing and mixing anyway...

I think it's time for an upgrade. I've been a happy owner of Hacki since 2013. It never left me hanging but now I'm starting to work with bigger soundlibraries and I can't expand the ram so I thought it'd be a good time to upgrade the whole system. Actually to build a new and more...
