When Lightroom was upgraded from 9 to 10 a month or so ago, I could no longer open my Lightroom catalog.
I called Adobe for support and they acquired remote access and couldn't get it to work either, downgraded to Lightroom 9.
So far there's no resolution - has anyone else had this problem and...
Im currently running 10.13.6 (software requires me to stay here ) and cannot get my R9 280x to work in photoshop lightroom with GPU Acceleration on:
currently native, no forced inject, no framebuffer etc. metal works fine, but for some reason adobe does not like this. Please help, my previous...
I upgraded directly from High Sierra to Catalina without any major issues, once I switched to a compatible GPU. Photoshop 2020 (v21.0.1) and the new Lightroom Classic v9.0 (Camera Raw v12) became unstable and jerky with High Sierra and the GeForce 1060 GPU with the last Adobe update. I replaced...
Like the title said, I have a subscription with Lightroom CC, and the Classic CC keeps "waiting for a connection" forever whereas Lightroom CC often ends up crashing my PC and force restart it.
Any idea how to fix this?
Motherboard: Asus Z-370A
CPU: Intel 8700k
I'm currently on 10.13.6 with a GTX 1060, web drivers, and in general have no issues. I process a ton of photos in Adobe Lightroom Classic. I have a 27" 4k screen, and it's helpful to run it at 4k because in the thumbnails I can see if a photo is in focus or not. However, at native 4k...
So, I just made a fresh/clean install on my SSD with High Sierra 10.13.5 and installed the latest version of Lightroom 7.3.1.
The thing is this.. at the moment I am using the integrated Intel video card and after I start Lightroom, I can use it for 20 seconds, then is will freeze with...
When attempting to install Creative Cloud, I get "Error Code P81".
When I attempt to install Lightroom Classic directly, I get "Can't find /tmp"
Related, I think, is a problem when trying to set up my Canon PRO-100 printer. Error: "Can't install the software." <-- that's VERY helpful...
I can't stop thinking about my first hackintosh build. Why?
I use MBPr 13" mid 2014 i5/8GB/256GB. After connection to my Dell P2715Q 4K workflow is slow, lagged and unsmooth..
So I would like spent some money to build some cheap and little bit stronger configuration than my MBPr, and...
Now that version 6.14 (December 2017) looks to be the final stand-alone, perpetual version of Adobe's Lightroom and any future upgrades will only be through the CC membership, wouldn't it be really excellent if Apple brought back Aperture?
I for one would purchase it again or upgrade (I bought...
Anyone else that are using Adobe cloud service with Photoshop and Lightroom CC running on hackintosh?
I am running the cylinder mac pro today, and want to make a hackintosh build instead. But since I am a photographer and use Adobe I need to have this running 100%. So does anyone her run this?
As we approach 2018, I'm planing a new build to replace my current hack. I'm currently eyeing an x299, i9-X7900 setup. My main use is Lightroom, and naturally the first thing I've done is seek out some Lr cpu benchmarks...Everything I can find tells the same story; that cpu performance with...
Hey Gang looking for a little help, I'm a total newb here, first build. The major issue at the moment is I can't get Adobe Creative Cloud to install or for any of the programs to install independently. The system seems to be running smoothly, but when I go to install Adobe cc, I get a blank...
The single bug I've not been able to remedy with my build is the ability to sync with Lightroom mobile from my hackintosh. I have the latest version of LR and every other part of my creative cloud suite works flawlessly. Thoughts anyone?
EDIT: After reading half the forum I think I've settled on the build below, which is a very close copy of Stork's Hero build. Is there anything I should be aware of before I pull the trigger? Should I consider a liquid cooler instead of the Noctua? I chose it because it's quiet, but will it...
I am making a Hackintosh for mostly video editing in fcpx and some photo editing in photoshop and lightroom. Heres the list of parts I was thinking:

First of all, hi all! I'm new here! Let me start of by saying that I have much experience doing my own builds, but not for hackintosh. I went all-Mac in 2005 and I currently own a MacBook Pro 2010, geekbench 3 multi-core score 64 bit 4800. But the new Mac Pro is underwhelming and expensive, the...
I want to build a Hackintosh that allows me to do the following things:
Raw Image editing with Lightroom (might be the most resource intensive thing I do under OS X)
Being able to play games under windows in Full HD (under Windows which I want to setup as dual boot)
Other not so...
I'm using a X99 System with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 and the newest Nvidia Web Drivers for 10.10.4
In Photoshop CC 2015 the system recognizes the graphics card but in Lightroom I get this error: https://db.tt/33qewzgT
Any help would be apreciated. Thanks in advance.
Apologies in advance for a broad question but I need to get my bearings, as I go through the various Golden Builds.
I'm a photographer who works mainly in Lightroom and Photoshop. I'm upgrading my equipment (individual raw files are going from 12MB to 35MB) and likely will start to work with...
