This is my first Hackintosh and I have a problem with MultiBeast. I got a "GIGABYTE GA-H110M-S2H" Mainboard with a "Realtek ALC887" Audio Chip inside. But Multibeast doesn't show it in the Audio Drivers. Does anyone know why that could be?
Thanks for every answer.

After upgrading from High Sierra(10.13.4) to Mojave(10.14.1) once again I lost audio on sleep/wake. Previously I have used @RehabMan 's OS-X-EAPD-Codec-Commander for ALC1150. But as that profile was defined there I faced no problem. But how can I create a profile for ALC887? I mean I don't know...
Hello everybody, I just installed Mojave on my Desktop and I managed to get the sound working on both 3.5mm jack as well as HDMI. However, there are some caveats, but more on that later. I don't wanna spoil the fun, you have to suffer by reading through my chaotic post :D

I'm trying to use Multibeast to install the Realtek ALC887 codec. After attempting to install, I get a screen "The Installation Failed". One observation. It didn't matter if I had the EFI mounted or unmounted before attempting install.
Here are the details:
macOS version 10.13.5
I've tried everything(AppleALC+lilu.kext,realtekALC.kext, multibeast, all possible guides, tried all codes in clover) but still can't manage to get audio to work. Should I try to clean install High Sierra again, but with AppleALC+lilu.kext?
Thank you in advance.
This is a guide for installing OSX Sierra 10.13.4 onto the Asus Z370 Prime A boot using a Samsung 1TB 960 EVO PCIE NVME and a Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti card. If you don't have a NVME card or a Nvidia card this guide can still work for you - simply bypass those steps.

I'm including a screenshot of the installed kexts.

I've installed Sierra (10.12.4) on Asus Z170m-E D3. All is working well, and after initial install I had internal audio working well, via headphones. I'm using GTX650 via HDMI. Initially, HDMI audio was not working, but after installing Vanilla Apple HDA, HDMI audio is great. But...

Hi, I setup my Hackintosh about a month ago, and on discovering that there were no drivers available for Pascal cards, I just kept it as is, and used Windows(DualBooted Win & Sierra), at that time I couldn't get my audio to work, so I kept it for later when drivers were available for my 1060, so...
I've been struggling with this for the past few hours and I just don't get this.
I've opened my case to see that there are 2 front panel audio connectors. One being "Audio" (just AUDIO, no HD in front of that), other being "AC97".
However, I suspect it's meant HD Audio, otherwise...
