I just installed MacOS on PC for the first time and everything went super smooth except when I booted into OS in the end.
Here is my board and CPU:
MSI Z97-Gaming 5
Intel i7-4790K Using Integrated Intel HD 4600 Graphics
OS installed from 10.12.6 image I just downloaded yesterday...
O first if your not an experience hackintosh user you'll have more than a lot of work. Getting that GTX 680 up and running. 5xx series has just been added to support list, 680 won't be so easy to hack.
Next Z77 board should work whit out a to much of a work but they are not still supported...
Quite correctly. As well a did mention that I'm and engineer and this new technology Intel has been developing, 3D transistors, I'm intrigued to see how it impact the performance , energy and efficiency of hole system and for that I'll need Z77.
Not really caring about power management.
My computer is constantly on during the day and shut down during night so sleep/hibernate or and power mode is not anything that concerns me.
Well I'm more then willing to experiment, have some money and time on my hands so why not.
And I was waiting for Ivy Bridge, and by the time i7-3770K arrives to the market Apple might put out new iMac's and Macbooks and if i7-3770K does not work I'll use one of SB i5's or i7's that I have laying...
Ok so I decided to build myself a hachintosh. I have already put a pre-ordered on new Intel Core i7-3770K, Kingston HyperX limited edition RAM and several more components.
Now I come to a dilemma when choosing a motherboard.
I have set on two models, (side note this is gonna be more of a test...
