So, I just 'inherited' this laptop, and wondering what to do with it. Is it worth hackintoshing it please? I have a 2015 MBP 15" and a 2018 Lenovo Yoga X1 3rd gen.
Okay, my MBP is set up with the LED Apple Cinema Display and along with my preexisting ASUS, I now have three 2560x1440 screens (including the MBP) itself. I have transferred my data to the MBP and the windows portion of the 'hackintosh' which I've upgraded to Win10 and will now be using...

16G RAM
MSI 760 Twin Frozr
Bitfenix Prodigy M case
128 Plextor SSD for Mavericks
120 Intel SSD for Windows 8.1
2TB WD Black for storage
TP link 4800 wifi card
ASUS VG27A on HDMI (cheap 3D monitor)...
An update if anyone interested, now installing Windows 8 to the second SSD. Tried to be 'lazy' and not disconnect the other HDs but getting an Error code 0x80070570 at 0% installation. Googling suggested a DVD disk problem (legit disk) but in the end bit the bullet, opened up the case and...
