    Battery status on Lenovo t431s

I'm a bit confused to be honest.. I'm 100% sure that the x220 patch in the repository didn't work on my machine but by comparing them quickly I don't see differences. This is the complete patch that worked for me... Unfortunately I'm not sure everything is perfect yet.. but a huge improvement...

    Battery status on Lenovo t431s

Ok, I see what you mean! Changed the method to the new one and things are working fine apparently.. I do see the battery status. Thank you SO MUCH for your help and I'll soon send the full patch in case you want to put it into the repository. :)

    Battery status on Lenovo t431s

I actually followed your tutorial and converted all the registers myself (I only took from there the 128 bit ones after verifying the code was the same). Do you think I should just apply the original x220? I had done that and it didn't work.. that's why I tried creating it from scratch, even if...

    Battery status on Lenovo t431s

Thanks so much, you are correct and those really are a match; at this point I have completed patching the DSDT and for the first time to OS sees a battery! The problem is it's always showing 0% charge.. do you know what could be causing that? I really think I covered all the resters and I see...

    Battery status on Lenovo t431s

Ok.. SORRY.. I figured out those 3 compile errors, I just had to play with the functions a bit. If you don't mind could you just put me in the right direction with those 2 128 bit registers? I really get lost in that part of the documentation. Hope you can help and thanks in advance!

    Battery status on Lenovo t431s

Ok, I started and I think I'm very close with the 16 and 32 bit registers; when you have a moment would you mind taking a quick look and my files and giving me a little hint for the compile errors? I currently get these 3 errors even if I think the patch is correct.. 14080, 4064, Object does...

    Battery status on Lenovo t431s

I might try but it sounds quite complicated and I'm an advanced user but not a programmer. For now I isolated these registers that need to be converted as part of "ECOR".. HWAK, 16, SBRC, 16, SBFC, 16, SBAC, 16, SBVO, 16, SBBM, 16, SBDC, 16, SBDV, 16, SBSN, 16 SBCH...

    Battery status on Lenovo t431s

Dear all, after a lot of playing, kernel panics and broken startup sequences I'm almost done configuring Mavericks on my Ivy Bridge Lenovo t431s. Audio, ps2 keyboard and trackpad, hd4000, bluetooth, wireless (got a usb adapter), screen brightness, speedstep.. everything seems to be working fine...

Ivy Bridge - P-States working but.. not as they should!

Dear all, I have installed Mavericks on my laptop (Lenovo t431s) that uses an Intel i5-3437u (ivy bridge). After a lot of adjustments I got basically everything to work: hd4000, ps2 trackpad and keyboard, screen brightness control, audio, Bluetooth, battery monitor and finally power management...

    Combined U310/U410 Mavericks Thread

Hi there, I'm reading that you have 100% working power management on ivy bridge but can I please ask what is the lower end multiplier that your system is normally using when idle? I'm having this problem on my lenovo ivy bridge t431...
