    Gigabyte Z87-HD3 network drivers

@TheRedBull, good you figured it out! I have been using a USB dongle for my internet (capped at 100Mbit though, my Ethernet is 240Mbit) ever since. I did a new try yesterday and I still couldn't install the network drivers. The network interface is populated but I don't get a IP address over...

    Gigabyte Z87-HD3 network drivers

Yes, I just checked: it's a GA-Z87-HD3 with a Realtek chip. Ethernet did work without issues on my previous hackintoshes (with the same mobo). Maybe the hardware is failing. I can check on Windows when I start the dual booting process (which is also harder than I thought).

    Gigabyte Z87-HD3 network drivers

I tried installing Ethernet drivers but without any luck. I ended up using the NullEthernet Kext and was able to access the App Store. I followed this guide: http://www.computertechplace.com/app-store-device-could-not-be-recognized-fix-for-laptops-without-ethernet-port/. So I have network...

    Gigabyte Z87-HD3 network drivers

Ok, finally had some time to do a new installation. Gigabyte Z87-HD3 network drivers

I'm currently building my third hackintosh. I bought some new parts, most notably a large SSD, more RAM and a GTX970 graphics card. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z87-HD3. Next is the selection of drivers. Everything should work out of the box except audio, network and video. Audio was working...

Sierra stabilized and booting, Multibeast fails on Audio and Ethernet Kext Insertions

I had a similar problem this weekend. Really weird. No matter what I tried, the MultiBeast installer would fail over and over again with the message "Certificate used to sign package is not trusted. Use -allowUntrusted to override.". I couldn't find any documentation, except this post. So it's...

    OS X 10.10.4 Update

I upgraded straight from 10.10 to 10.10.4. I followed post #2 and I'm very happy I updated without troubles. My config: a Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 with an i5 4430 and a AMD HD6850. I had to install the Realtek ALC892 audio driver and the 10.10.3 TRIM patch (with MultiBeast).
