    Z390 and Thunderbolt 3

    For and Z390 Designare uses PCH, not CPU. Therefore, is NOT the best solution for Thunderbolt 3, specially eGPU. No one seems to care one about it, and I already said here... I keep saying, IMHO, the combo Z390 Gaming SLI + Titan Ridge is the best solution.

    Will Radeon VII work out of the box?

    It is not Vega, it is Radeon VII. I recently changed to a Vega 64 (10 days...) from a 1080Ti... bad timing... hopefully the new one doesn't worth it...

    Apple Introduces New MacBook Air and Mac Mini

    Best case ever!! https://luna-design.org/dnk-h#design I didn't know about it before!! It doesn't require a brick... perfect case for a mac mini configuration!! https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/luna-design-dnk-h-slim-mini-itx-case-barebones-pc,4776.html It is weird a didn't see anything like...

    Z390 and Thunderbolt 3

    I don’t know the price or the designare, but I think is more. Even though as @kgp said (author of iMac Pro guide) is better to have it in a separate card, just in case a new technology emerges like happened with alpine ridge and titan ridge and for this you should have a tb header which the...

    iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

    Very nice!! Love your guide, and your site... ;) @kgp, Just one generic question. If you were about to implement a completely different motherboard chipset (Asrock H370-ITX/ac) with a different SMBIOS (last Mac mini 2018: Macmini8,1) from scratch, what steps and guides you would follow to...

    iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

    @PedroJSkywalker, Why didn't get the Gigabyte Vega 64 OC (the 6 ports, non reference model), if it is supposed to be free of problems? Even doesn't need whatevergreen... as the guide claims. @kgp, why do you have Sapphire instead the Gigabyte knowing that? Thanks!!

    Z390 and Thunderbolt 3

    To be honest, and considering the price guys, the "Gigabyte Z390 Gaming SLI" is the best bet, as you can add the AIC Titan Ridge natively (and the only one that supports on CPU instead of PCH) and this motherboard is cheap because doesn't have wifi nor TB3 (and you can buy the other AIC with the...

    [SUCCESS] blouse's "Hack Pro" :: i9-9900K + Z390 Aorus Pro + Vega 64 + TB3 + USB3 :: 100% working

    Oh very nice!! It is the double of performance, or just a little bit better? (in percentage?, do you have numbers?) What about Houdini or Maya, have you tried?

    [SUCCESS] blouse's "Hack Pro" :: i9-9900K + Z390 Aorus Pro + Vega 64 + TB3 + USB3 :: 100% working

    Oh, nice build!! Could you please let me know what is the difference between 1 or 2 Vega 64 cards? Does it take advantage of having two? In everything or just with certain things? Thanks and greetings!

    Apple Introduces New MacBook Air and Mac Mini

    With the new titan ridge tb3 chipset of the gigabyte AIC card, people are able to connect and make it work in non certified TB3 motherboards (even AMD), even in 2012 mac pro... Maybe the H370M-ITX/ac, is a good combination as it provides CPU connection (instead PCH) via PCI-E 16X, and 4x...

    You may want Thunderbolt 3 for futureproof onboard graphics.

    I haven't read the whole thing, but I search in the thread if you mentioned something about the lanes used for the TB3 controller, and another important thing, in the mobo you choose if it is connected directly to the CPU or PCH. Maybe is not relevant to you, but just in case I would mention if...
