Boot life is like a dice game. Dell T3600, Sierra 10.12

Apparently I am an idiot. I think when trying to fix the 'error loading kernel cache' issue that slide=0 fixed I was experimenting with Fix, Fix2 and Fix2Drv-Free from https://nickwoodhams.com/x99-hackintosh-osxaptiofixdrv-allocaterelocblock-error-update/ It got confused. I feel like...

Boot life is like a dice game. Dell T3600, Sierra 10.12

Ah, forgive me. Former lurker, still adjusting. So now it doesnt reboot, it only hangs at a black screen. Could be because I turned on the debug flag. I video'ed and screen shot the hang (attached) and also attached is a copy of my EFI\Clover folder sans Themes, in a .zip file. - Not sure...

So I think the Slide=0 may have resolved #3 Tried to look up what that does exactly, and seems pretty intense. But, Thank you! Im still having a sudden reboot sometimes (at LEAST 50% of the time, actually more) My current boot args are: -v slide=0 dart=0 npci=0x3000 debug=0x100 Shouldn't...

So, thanks for entertaining all the noob questions. I've learned a lot about clover, which was new to me. So it wasn't for nothing. I am in an interesting position. With the stock machine, I have dual displays via displayport on the quadro, Sleep, as well as the on board ethernet working. I...

    Capturing Crash Reports

I have the same problem with my T3600. Either flawless boot, a stop error which I think is your cross. I can see that if I use -v for verbose, or a third thing that just suddenly reboots the machine before I can read the last line. I think this is what I need to identify the auto reboot! I...

    UniBeast UEFI USB seem unbootable?

Oops. Thanks. Sorry about that. This isn't a huge deal as I just went with Legacy Bios installer and got in, but I found it strange that I couldnt get a UEFI boot going with UniBeast.

Dell Precision Fixed Workstation T3600 Compatibility

How did you get that going? I couldn't seem to get the motherboard to recognize the USB as UEFI bootable. I've reverted to using the Legacy BIOS option, which works fine. I just don't understand why I wasn't able to boot into the installer as UEFI. This is where I am now. Thanks to this...

    UniBeast UEFI USB seem unbootable?

Im no genius, but I have also successfully installed OSx on a few different machines. This is my first foray into UEFI however, and I've tried a few times, but the drive simply wont show up as UEFI bootable. Where do I begin to troubleshoot this? What, if anything, am I sacrificing if I...

Hey guys, Lots of life changes, but things are settling and I am ready to revisit this. Especially as now there seems to be more people with demonstrable success. I am curious, if I recall correctly, this Board was EITHER SATA OR Hardware RAID? I gave a quick run the other day but was having...

Install Mavericks on Dell Optiplex 9010 - everything works out of box

Kludge, Thanks for the assistance and setting me up for success. Due to your awesome post I was able to knock this one out fairly quickly. Not a hack expert, but I've done a few of them, and some of them was well before Tony put out all these awesome tools! Anyway, I havent really got to...

Dell Precision Fixed Workstation T3600 Compatibility

M.monkhouse, I feel like I was MIGHTY close, but looked to the community for guidance and found little to none. Seems like at least one person has gotten most of it working. I've been tempted to go to lesser hardware. Are you in it? Perhaps we could coordinate our efforts? cheers,
