After much duress, I have successfully installed Catalina 10.15.6 on my old i7-4790k, Z97X mainboard, just updated with a new PCIe M.2 970 SSD and a RX 580. It has been a while since my last hack, but it was a great re-learning process. Everything about the build is functional (yeah!) however...
