    Guide: Dell XPS 8500

So, anyone tried the High Sierra preview? I still haven't fixed my USB ports in Sierra so now would rather just upgrade to High Sierra before seeking a fix in case anything changed.

Try this config.plist, works with my setup using UEFI boot for El Capitan and Sierra, though I skipped Yosemite. I just stripped my generated serial numbers. Also make sure you have the Clover drivers OSxAptioFixDrv, DataHubDxe, and OSXFatBinaryDrv UEFI if you go that route. Of course you have...

    Guide: Dell XPS 8500

I use a USB audio interface so haven't really used the audio drivers or tried to keep them working. Now I'm trying to find the fix for Sierra, I just upgraded and can't seem to get my USB ports back. Changed things a bit more. Tried the MultiBeast 7/8/9 USB Series Support install and it didn't...

    Guide: Dell XPS 8500

OK, I solved the USB 2.0 ports not being found in El Capitan. Google "USB fix El Capitan" if...

From reading threads on other sites, it appears that this is due to the SMBIOS model you are using, since El Capitan counts the ports differently. I'm using iMac 13,2 to be closest to the CPU (i7 3.4Ghz)...

    Multi-Output Device Works not properly

This is finicky even on legit Macs. You may need to turn the "Drift Correction" on for HDMI instead of the Built-in Output. Also, make sure that the sample and bit rates are the same for input and output on each device that you're using in the multi-device output.

    Guide: Dell XPS 8500

There were a couple posts on this thread about using UEFI boot with Clover. It is possible! Having just recently struggled trying to get Windows 7 to boot in UEFI on my ancient iMac, plus succeeded getting Windows 8 to do EFI booting on my Macbook Air, I'm now hooked and want my modern systems...
