Have followed this build pretty closely, as my cpu mono combo is the same.
With the same multi beast settings I have no ethernet. It just continually says not connected, and I have just updated Bios to F7.
Any suggestions?
I had audio issues too, but I managed to resolve that by using Audio Midi Setup and changed the output to another port, I also found that changing the frequency helped the audio, but a new port has been much better!.
I am getting no ethernet at all, even though i used Intel - hank's...
I am not really adding much to this, but the lack of ethernet is on my Hack also with the same motherboard and similar build.
I also have a secondary option next to the ethernet option which tells me that the built in port is not connected.
Would be good to see some links for the components at that price.
interested in something this basic for a server build.
Did you have any issues with the graphics card when going through the first install?

Without looking to hijack this thread, I certainly have a couple of questions about a potential home server.
I've just finished the build on my i7 and with the change of technology around the house, namely the move of my iMac which is my current t*****t TV show downloader and Plex...
Soooo.... The GFX card was the problem.
Had to physically remove it, and everything has been (almost) perfect.
I have since added the card and is all coming up nicely.
15,000 on geekbench.
Only minor issues are Ethernet and usb not providing enough power to charge the iPhone or iPad.
