    Ok from what i can gather, you get audio when you test your speakers but you cannot run in 5.1 when listening to movies. Correct? I think you can only use the 5.1 when watching movies which support 5.1 surround sound natively (Like dvd movies). I also have all 5 working but can get only 2.1...

    Guys, thanks for your inputs. Actually i used this method and the static sound comes through all 5 speakers when tested but i don't get 5.1 when playing audio on itunes. Is it like the windows side where i get all speakers plating at the same time or do i need to watch a movie with true 5.1...

    Go for the ati5770. It works very well in snow leopard after the graphics update and multibeast allows us to install the driver in 2 simple steps.

    Aptana is your friend. Supports all kinds of formats ranging from simple html to js,php and many others. The ide is like eclipse except its geared for web development. Hope this helps.

    I was searching for alc888 driver for snow leopard. But looking on the last page of Bansaku's thread (page 10). I found a link which he gave to another member. I can confirm that my audio works flawlessly. All line out ar detected, though i cannot figure out how to make all the speakers work...

    Hi brother, what's the difference between the one you posted and the one on the first page? I've used the default multibeast legacyalc888 and enabler, your first and stramlined version. All these failed and only this one worked. Can you explain me why it didn't work? Thanks. 8-)
