    MultiBeast 6.2 Update

Article: MultiBeast 6.2 Update I still have a Z68 based system and recently replaced my old GTX460 with an R9 270. The OpenGL performance wasn't that great under 10.9.1 but improved greatly under 10.9.2. Following a suggestion on another forum, I switched to using MacPro6,1 and got another...

Time Machine Backup and Recovery on a CustoMac

So glad I have been using Time Machine on my CustoMac. I had a problem with an update for Lord of the Rings Online and Steam wanted to download all 16GBs of it again, luckily I was able to restore it via Time Machine instead

P-State Stepper Error 18 at step 2 when trying to overclock

Wow, around 100 views and no suggestions :( Anyway I seem to have solved it myself: I had just changed the multiplier to a fixed value of 40 via the 'all cores' option in the BIOS, I just tried setting values for the 'per core' option using 1-core: 42, 2-cores: 41, 3-cores: 41, 4-cores: 40...

P-State Stepper Error 18 at step 2 when trying to overclock

Thought I might give overclocking a go today, I have an i5 2500k and an AsRock Z68 Pro3-M. I have had no problem with it at stock speed and either SSDT from multibeast (stock or OC), but when I tried to overclock it to 4GHz I get the P-State Stepper Error for each core and its stuck at 1.6GHz...

Sleep/Wake solved on ASRock z68 motherboards (Lion)

Yes I needed to delete AppleTyMCE.kext to prevent kernel panics, I think this is necessary for anyone using MacPro4,1 or macPro5,1. I do use the usb3 ports, though not with any usb3 devices I just needed the extra ports. Just installed the usb3 stuff in multibeast and they worked.

Sleep/Wake solved on ASRock z68 motherboards (Lion)

Have you tried toledas AppleHDA.kext for the ALC892? I'm using it and have no problems putting my hack to sleep.

Sleep/Wake solved on ASRock z68 motherboards (Lion)

I have a Z68 Pro3-M as well, with an i5 2500k, and I have sleep working via this thread. Attached is my DSDT, I don't think the different CPUs, i3 vs i5, should affect it if you want to try it. I extracted it via a Linux live CD, I then applied the patch for the Z68 Pro3-M via DSDTEditor from...

Rebranding BCM94322MC based on prasys guide. What device id?

Two things 1. BCM4312 802.11b/g - your card uses a different chipset to mine 2. modprobe -r w1 - this should be wl(lowercase L) not w1(one) so this may be the issue rather than the different chipset (4321 vs 4312) also, found this on another site to do with the rebranding process: Card...

Rebranding BCM94322MC based on prasys guide. What device id?

I had the same problem when I did my card as well. Mine is also a BCM94321. I'll try to go through how I got mine to work. 1. After booting into Linux open a terminal and runn the following sudo -s <enter> lspci | grep Broadcom <enter> If you have an installed linux system you will be...

Rebranding BCM94322MC based on prasys guide. What device id?

Since the guide was originally written the url in step 8 has changed from http://git.bu3sch.de/git/b43-tools.git to git://git.bu3sch.de/b43-tools.git so you will need to run that command again with the correct url and all should be good
