@headkaze Is there an option to specify the directory where the Hackintool_Build folder goes instead of the Desktop when building kexts?
Since upgrading to 10.15.2, I get build failures with trying to run codesign because the source code/built kexts have extended attributes that I can't get...
Would it be possible to follow the original authors repo for IntelMausiEthernet (https://github.com/Mieze/IntelMausiEthernet). It's a newer version in the repo than RebhabMan's since it's the original author of the kext.
Excellent, I assume I need to set framebuffer-pipecount to 2 and framebuffer-portcount to 2 as well since I'll only have the two active ports (although the HDMI and DP port have the same pipe number)?
What's the proper way to disable an unused port? I'm trying to disable Index 1 in Hackintool since it's an unused port (I only have HDMI/Index2 and DP/Index3 on my motherboard).
I've run both without any issues, I'm currently on HFS+J but I'll probably go back to APFS once 10.14.x is available. I didn't follow too much any build specific guide as I've been doing this for awhile. But mostly used a stock DSDT and added additional SSDTs for all the extra stuff (USB...
Because they are no longer required with the new driver. I've always had issues with G-Sync not working properly. On the older drivers, enabling G-Sync would lock the entire display up after a couple seconds of being enabled.
On these new *.30.103 and latest *.30.106 drivers, I can enable...
Updated to the 30.106 drivers and removed NGF and Lilu. Everything appears to be working great now except my issues with NVIDIA G-Sync.
So close, oh so close.
No problem, I'm happy that I can use the latest drivers with no lag now. I can actually enable G-Sync without the display locking up. However, G-Sync enabled does lock up some games, but works great at the desktop.
Attached is the latest versions of Lilu (1.2.3) and NvidiaGraphicsFixUp (1.2.5), both were compiled from the master branch of their respective repositories (meaning it's the absolute latest iteration of the code as of 1pm Central Time today).
I do hope they fix these drivers. The 387 drivers are horribly slow, but I can enable G-Sync without the graphics completely locking up. Where the 378 drivers are not laggy and everything works great, but if I enable G-Sync, the display completely locks up within seconds of enabling G-Sync.
Yes, it's today. I think Stork meant when it's announced that High Sierra is officially available in the App Store (which should be later today sometime).
Like @RehabMan said, 15 port limit per USB controller. The motherboard has two USB controllers onboard, use USB3.0 controller that controls all of the motherboard headers (including the USB2.0 headers) and a USB3.1 controller which handles the USB3.1 port on the back panel (and I think it...
Then you may still need the port patch because you are limited to 15 ports total by Apple's drivers. However, @RehabMan has stated that there are issues with exceeding the 15 port limit, so you may need look at how you are connecting everything and decide how best to do it.
If you check here https://github.com/andrewmiskell/Series-200-Patches/blob/master/SSDT-UIAC-Z270X-UD5.dsl I've already done most of the leg work. You just need to remove the ports you don't use to get under the 15 port limit and update the UsbConnector property for any devices that are...
