I solved disabling lan on board and using sonnet card, It's weird that mavericks see it as a bluetooth card :crazy: but no more freezing.

I've the same mb and I think the problem is lan related not ram related, I ordered a sonnet pciex lan card that is oob compatible with macosx and when It arrive I'll disable the onboard pan card and I'll see what happen.. .

It's normal, sadly, maverick It's unreliably, I'm disappointed because there's no solution, probably the next step of unibeast...I hope so I try every trick and tweak but random the system freeze. It's a really big fault, and all my component are from the raccomanded list...:thumbdown:

It freezes again three times in half an hour after 36 hrs of heavy load. This is a bad issue, it happens random, more when I watch video from youtube or in streaming, but in other situation too. We wait for a solution.

My ram is a ddr3 gskill i 2400mhz (32gb 4 stick)and the standard voltage is 1,65 I set to 1,68 and seems to improve the overall stability.

I don't know if it's stable but I updated to new bios and I change the voltage of dram to 1,68v, and I plug the cpu fan cord in the sys fan socket instead of the cpu socket fan, and now seems to be stable. I think is something about electrical stage of motherboard.

Ok I found that the problem still exist and it seems related to youtube movie, but random. Someone can help me?

It freezes random when I play youtube movie mor often, I can't get a solution, maybe we ghave to delete the other kext for intel hd? My system is quite the same except the graphic card mine is a gtx660. Please help me .

OK It seems solved for me I'm using transmission for 3 hours in meanwhile I converted some flac ties in mp3 (320kbs High quality slow conversion) and listen musica with clementine and surfing web. So the problem for me seems to be the intel hd tex, as I stated in this topic...

Ok I delete intel hd graphics kext and seems to be stable. I don't understand how can I see cpu temperature...

Today 4 times. It' impossible to work, I don't understand why these times I quite never use network for heavy load only simple sporadic web surfing- So I can't understand why it freeze.Mavericks is a nightmare:beachball::banghead: I wanna try a modified bios.

I prefear cable network over wifi, which gigabit ethernet card is fully compatible with mavericks? I've a z87 board. As in my profile.

I try with system Imac 14.2 and C state no and seems to go better... I've 4 dimms configuration (32 gb 2400 xmp )

I'm using a 500gb evo and It's stable and very fast.
