Solved!!

Delete your IntelHDgraphics kexts from S/L/E and reboot. Some might say that you can't do that because if you need to rely on your Intel graphics at some point, you are screwed, but that's not true, at least on my system. Your on board graphics will still load, just not at full acceleration.
