I'm trying to do this with ozmosis but it won't boot, is there another method to boot both monitors with the same gpu ? mine is R9 290X

Anyone using R9 290X on a 4K monitor, please tell me much about it. How is it, screenshots, is it 60Hz or 30Hz? What connections and what monitor it is. Also those with RX 480/580, please share with me. Before I buy this one monitor for use with 2017 MacBook Pro 15", iMac 2013 and my hack.

Sleep works here 100% on my R9 290X with the vBIOS method. nothing better than that yet.

I flashed that BIOS on IM thread to My R9 290X and guess what, sleep works, booting is faster, performance increased.

How do remove EFI driver from shell and then boot without restarting? what are the commands? we might settle a script for that and integrate it into clover.

did you manage to get Polaris working without IGPU yet?

Confirmed: The new GPU that runs the Macbook is the RX460 which is a crap one. Let's hope bootloader devs will fix the IGPU and sleep/wake issue.

AMD will release a new revision of Polaris cards that will have 50% improvements on performance and TDP. Do you think there will be a change in device ids? Now i regrets buying my RX 470. :(

with RX470 i'm getting 15-18 seconds with Bruce 5K Bench XML and i think with RX 480 it'll be a little bit higher(less seconds). Also the IGPU thing is very annoying and no one has researched into it till now.280X/380,380X with 2048 are almost identical to M290X,M295X-M390X,M395X except the TDP...

I don't know exactly what is making this issue happens, but many people reported this issue doesn't happen with their real mac pros , so it's only related to hackintosh community even some nvidia cards have this same issue, what i think it is related to Sierra's Drivers for AMDs or The...

I feel your pain but there is no other way around atm, till some hero comes and help fix this issue, BTW this issue doesn't happen in real macs. Many confirmed their custom gpus works OOB (290X). So it's hackintosh related.

i wonder if 380X/380/280X will be capable of doing 4K@60Mhz. Sorry for bumping this but i was wondering and i should ask in the right thread :)

The only way to get it working is to set IGPU as primary from UEFI BIOS.
