Thanks for the info. Finally got to the installer GUI. I had to remake my drive using Rufus method. I’ll post the EFI and everything working on this build once through the install

    OpenCore Z590 build

First time with OpenCore wanted to attempt a Z590 build with 10th gen Intel. Keep getting the prohibited sign and now after weeding out a few kexts I’m hung up here. And suggestions?

So to narrow the problem down, sleep works fine when lid is open. Display fails to brighten when goes to sleep lid is closed then opened.

[Guide] Lenovo G50-70 Yosemite using Clover

It would wake but the brightness would be all the way down. Tested the USB WIFI and works fine without it. Plugged it back in and works just fine. I feel so dumb. Thanks, I'll try restarting.

[Guide] Lenovo G50-70 Yosemite using Clover

    I ended up patching all common fixes from your patch guide. Now goes to sleep but doesn't wake. 13 2 0xffffff7f822e3000 0x65000 0x65000 com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform (3.1) <12 11 7 6 5 4 3 1>

Does anyone have the sleep mode working? Tried a few patches and whatnot but can't seem to figure it out. (Goes into sleep mode then restarts shortly after.) Also, HDMI audio doesn't work. Although, haven't tried patches for that. Lost all hope on patching the brightness key functionality.

[Guide] Lenovo G50-70 Yosemite using Clover

ended up using ELAN trackpad kext and seemed to do the job. Not perfect (buttons on the mousepad dont work correctly so I just use the trackpad for all clicking features) but I rarely use the buttons anyway. Found out I needed the firewall on to access app store, imessage and icloud. Everything...

Then, I went to check my HDMI port, worked fine but then my mouse/trackpad stopped working (started freaking out again). Having a really...

[Guide] Lenovo G50-70 Yosemite using Clover

I'll double check and start from scratch. I'm fairly new to disassembling DSDTs and using MacIASL so the the guides can be all little advanced as I'm not familiar with all the terms. I've tried using EFI mounter v2 and terminal but I get "doesn't exist" errors. So I end up reinstalling Clover...

[Guide] Lenovo G50-70 Yosemite using Clover

Everything goes well with my g50-70 until I get to fixing the syntax errors after disassembly. After clicking compile in MacIASL it shows 17 errors then 15 after applying the two fixes given above. Can't seem to get around this part. Also, After installing clover on HDD and restarting EFI isn't...
