I have done run update helper and rebooted.
I have run the combo update ans am about to run Multibeast before rebooting.

How did you manage to get Mountain Lion installed? Did you start with Snow Leopard and then upgrade. I bought snow leopard and I have the same laptop but I can't get it to boot on Snow Leopard, I get a kernel panic error.
I have managed to install Snow Leopard on my Lenovo Ideapad Y570 with 2nd generation i7-2670QM CPU. When I try to boot after the legacy iBoot cd I get a blank screen. If I use the GraphicsEnabler=No I get a Kernel Panic crash which looks nasty.
What can I do from here?
Can iBoot be installed on a USB stick and then booted from the USB stick. I tried this after changing to setting in my Bios to boot from USB first but when it tries to boot it just gives a disk error and press any key to continue.
