Did you use the combo file downloaded from apple or just hit the update system from apple menu? In case you did the last one, that's probably your problem. Try again using the combo and running multibeast before rebooting the .system. Another hint is clone your boot partition, boot from it and...

You can't install OS X on HDs bigger than 1 TB. Have you made partitions for the installation?

iBoot you use only to install Snow Leopard from scratch. You'll have to use unibeast for Lion. Also, in your description you said you have an embeded GPU. Check the Graphics forum to see if there is any issue with your model and Lion.
