I installed 10.6.5 with iboot 2.5.1. I ran multibeast 2.4 with the DSDT and ran the usual selections. I can boot into OSX with iboot but not without it. It sits at the apple screen and just spins. Any idea? I've been looking at the 40+ page 10.6.5 thread and didn't find anything. Ideas?

I know there have been some experimental options for getting 64bit ATI drivers for the 5xxx series. Does anyone know if 10.6.5 helped with those options? Is a stable/official fix around the corner or still a ways off? I'm just curious. thanks

I have gotten my system up and running in which everything is great. In the system profiler my bus is displayed as 640mhz. Intel changed the measurement to DMI which this proc is rated 2.5GT/s. Should my bus me higher or should the naming convention be changed? Do I need to update the boot.plst?

When loading from iBoot - either vanilla, ATI or Nvidia does that load a particular set of drivers when booting in Snow Leopard? I have to have the ATI 5xxx-3 disk in all the time to load or else Snow Leopard doesn't boot, it posts a black screen and the CPU fan kicks goes nuts.
