Trying to revive my old hackintosh that I was running High Sierra on before. Think it'll work with Catalina? I cant find the exact list of what is and isnt supported by Catalina outside of actual mac hardware. Currently hitting a validation error on install...
Me either, it is set to Other OS. I have managed without the GPU card installed to get windows and ubuntu both to boot without issue. I believe my GPU is bad (windows gives code 43 for it) and I'm about to try out a different one.
Yes I did contact them and the ALPHA version of this board uses...
I am still unable to get to Clover. If I go to it via BIOS > Boot > UEFI it just freezes and if I let it boot normally and load up UEFI it just shows a blank screen.
@Stork @pastrychef Noticed something else that is odd. I downloaded 3802 off ASUS site as I am running 3801. Tried to update it and it says the M8H.CAP file is not a proper BIOS inside the EZ Flash tool. If I do it via Flashback nothing happens. Lastly I went into BIOS and tried ASUS EZ Flash 3...
@Stork @pastrychef I just redid the USB drive again on a different mac with high sierra, completed successfully, and same results. Not sure what else to check or try.
Alright, back in again, now when I select the USB drive it just freezes and still says 'Ad'. Hard-reboot to get back to BIOS again or if I let it just boot instead of going to BIOS it will get to that black/blank screen.
Hey, no mater if I boot the USB drive directly or via UEFI selection I get a blank screen and mobo saying 'Ad'. Hitting space bar does not do anything either.
Thanks
After the continue screens I chose:
USB
UEFI Boot Mode
Nothing at GPU
Review screen then continue
Then it eventually finishes
When done I have an EFI drive mounted and a Install OSX one, I copy Multibeast to the Install one, then eject both.
Thanks
