I have he TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 installed on my hackintosh.
What kext do I need to install? I feel like it would be the AppleIntel? I have no idea, maybe I do not need to install anything? Just want to do this Clover install correct, first time doing the Clover thing....
I could never get the clover USB to get an actual install on my HD. The only sure fire way that I could even get 10.10 booted and installed was the old unibeast USB to HD. Then then installed Clover on the UEFI to serve as the boot. I know its not vanilla, but i don't have nothing on my machine...
ok, so I figured this out, after hours of re-doing and re-writing my HD. You need to read then attempt to fix if you follow my directions, this is a guide and I am not responsible if it doesn't work. I installed 10.10 fresh using Unitbeast and once up, used multibeast to get my setting correct...
So I am having some issues, not sure if I am not following some directions or understanding some lingo that I am not used to. I have a H77N-WIFI with i3 3225. I had mavericks working with the usual chimera/multibeast and iMessage working, never had any issues doing any of this, till now...
For anyone that is using a H77n-WIFI with i3 3225 based system, I had to do a few tinkering of settings to get the audio working. In audio, I mean the normal digital audio, not HDMI. I had to add the kext dev mode option to cut to the chase of my story! I kept trying to use a DSDT and it would...
I have to agree, I am using the same USB stick and computer to run a clean install again on my hackintosh...used to take 15 minutes, still waiting at 45 minutes.....
After a long wait, I have resolved the front audio port problem! I took apart the case and looked inside. I unplugged the audio cable from the motherboard and noticed I had the AC'97 plugged in. With my set up I just plugged in the HD Audio cable instead, which was attached to the same AC'p7...
I have this exact build and have everything working perfectly. The only problem I am running into is the front audio ports. I did opt for the DSDT install to use HDMI audio. When I plug headphones in, I hear that the "click" when I plug them in, as if they are about to play something, but when I...
Just curious, what DVD/CD drive did you use for your build? Also, does your front audio ports work correctly? I have almost the exact build, HD and such is different, and I cannot get my front audio ports to function, but they do work in the rear. Congrats on the build!
I just did a clean install of 10.9 today, after finally fixing all my HDMI audio problems on 10.8....I then downloaded the newest 1.1.3 iMessage fix with no iMessage :banghead: so after reading a ton of forum suggestions, and then some more, I still had no answer! BUT I finally took a simple...
