Can you output graphics card from motherboard ports?

Is this usually a rare implementation? I can't find much information on motherboards that do this. The only one I've found was an ASRock Thunderbolt mobo. Is this feature enabled by bios tweaks or is this strictly only for boards that support DisplayPort-In? EDIT: I suppose it's strictly for...

Can you output graphics card from motherboard ports?

I wanted to know if it was possible to output the video signal from the graphics card of choice through the video ports (or any ports) on the mother board. I only want to use the graphics card as the designated gpu (and avoid having to enable the integrated gpu at all). To be clear what I had in...

    Building a CustoMac: Buyer's Guide July 2013

Hey Tony, please fix the "Mini Deluxe" build. I believe the power supply on the list won't fit in the case. Someone else on another "Buys Guide" has confirmed this. I recommend the Corsair CX 500 or the other higher wattage variations of it. I use it for my build and I know for sure they fit...

Post Restart Graphics Failure, Please Help

GREAT SUCCESS! Not sure if the EVGA GTX 660 SC w/ 2Gb RAM is an exception, but you actually don't need any open cl patches FOR THE GTX 660 SC, IT IS NOT THE SAME FOR OTHER CARDS. Inaddition, make sure to check the "GraphicsEnabler=No" in multibeast (under customization). Also, when installing...

    First Time Build

The six pins are for a different use; PCI-E power cables, they are often 6 pins with an additional and split-able 2 pin. I think the one you need is for CPU power, often 4 or 8 pins. The powersupply should have a wire separately for this, again labeled "CPU". If you need a 4 pin, and you have a...
