I installed the ALC1150 driver from multibeast but it doesn't work and no sound devices are detected. Also no idea what Optional HDAEnabler is. Is that something I should do? Also what is the universal VOODOO stuff?

What is my Mountain lion installer version (one one in my applications folder if you don't know what i'm talking about" . I know it is either 10.8.0 or 10.8.1. I do not want to upgrade it or check any dates of the files. How do I tell?
