Suddenly, without an update for years, Gigabyte STRONGLY recommends a bios update? Seems important but I don't want to screw things up. Anyone tried it? (Or a similar Bios version on an other board with the same description?)
1. Reason was that I needed to upgrade to Big Sur where the card no longer seem to work as before. And also I was really curious and eager to flash something. Messing with the hardware it self made me feel good inside :)
2. I upgraded two weeks ago. Actually I still have the Catalina on a...
Hi. I flashed my Alpine Ridge AIC yesterday and it looks good in System Report. I can see my PlugableTBT dock and my MOTU Audio in there. If I view the IOReg It looks almost as good but with the difference that the MOTU interface won't show? Also if I open MOTU software nothing seems to be...
Awsome!
Updated from HighSierra with HFS so
- I needed to boot recovery mode and convert disk to APFS
- I needed the vanilla AppleHDA.kext to get back the sound but other than that it seem to work like a charm.

EDIT: Still works even with the interfaces turned off and then turn them on.
I also see now that I don't have the same structure as yours... I changed the RP05 to RP21 of course but the tree is different. (No PXSX, no pci-bridge, pci8086...) Do I need to fix anything else in the .aml?
Ah, too bad I thought I was on to something. :/
I already have the THB_C connected, your SSDT of method 2 adapted to my table (RP05-RP21) and latest bios. Weird.
What might I be missing?
Ok I just discovered something...
Booting OSX with all thunderbolt powered on. APR>TBdock>Motu interface. And also an USB-stick attached to TBdock.
Power down Motu interface makes even the TBdock and attached USBstick disappear!?
Power the Motu interface on again = Nothing happens.
