Thanks! I'll try that. I just need to find all of the documentation I created for that machine. I tried to boot with what I thought was my Clover USB but I discovered that it was just a Utility drive I created with tools and kexts, etc..
UPDATE: That didn't work. I got it to boot with the...
I built a second hackintosh and used Clover as the boot loader. It took me awhile to get it working perfectly. I built it with 10.10.0 and haven't touched it since. Unfortunately, my wife was using it and updated it. Now it is stuck in a boot loop. And, I can't remember much about Clover...
I don't think I installed anything. I updated Clover but I think I rebooted after. I'm about to pull my hair out...
Looks like a fresh install again tomorrow. Haven't decided to go with Clover again or Chimera. Clover looks more powerful but I'm just not as familiar with it. I also like the...
I was just using my freshly installed Yosemite via Clover on my second build. The only issue was that it would loose the audio after sleep. I had to go somewhere so I turned it off. Now I come home and turn it on. It starts booting up noticeably slower and then it stops with the circle with the...
How are you testing for sound? Are you playing something on iTunes or youtube etc? Remember the sound gadget on the title bar doesn't make that plop sound in Yosemite. Choose internal speaker and plug your speakers into the green port and have a song, etc. playing in the background.
Yes, this does seen to be very buggy and inconsistant. One time it works the next it doesn't. I feel like I'm chasing Gremlins. I installed over a perfectly working Mavericks. I had no sound and no Bluetooth. Worked on problem for hours. Never got sound working but for some reason the bluetooth...
Yep. I just discovered that mine does this as well. I just got mine finished a few days ago and hadn't attached speakers because I was attempting to get the HDMI audio working. I have the same MB as you the Z97X-SLI. I've been looking here and elsewhere for a solution. Still am. Post here if...
I am currently using my New Hackintosh.
I created a Unibeast USB following standard instructions.
Booted with -x -v maxmem=4096 Graphicsenabler=No
The OS install went smoothly and the system rebooted.
Left the unibeast in.
Once at the Chimera screen I chose the new OS X install and used...
But my Linux drive has no name to put in the /fstab. I cant use LABEL= . I'm sure there is someone who has Linux and has fond a way to hide the Linux drives.
Being that the current 2.9 GHz iMac 21.5" uses the "NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 1GB video memory" why would this card not work? Or is this a different chipset?
For the last several days my Hackintosh will not completely shut down. It goes to the white screen and sits there with the pointer only. If I click the mouse button I get the pretty little color wheel. I finally have to hold the power button to get it to turn off.
I'm also getting this over...
How about this one.....

It looks like it was meant for Mac.
...and it is cheaper...
