So as an update and FYI for anyone looking into this particular card. I went and purchased a SIIG DP FireWire 800 3 port PCIe and it works. Hot swap and sleep works as intended. So my build seems to be going pretty well. Only thing really left to test is dual monitor from integrated graphics.
