GTX 1060 performance on 10.13 High Sierra

I got ZOTAC GTX 1080 TI AMP and got the same issues while using scaled resolution on my 4K monitor (1440p). After switching to 2160p everything works great, however this is not a viable solution for me as everything is way to small :(

[Solved] Very poor write performance with Samsung SM951 NVME on HFS+ with High Sierra

I ended up buying Samsung 960 EVO, put it in the M.2 slot and purchased an M2>PCI adapter and put Samsung 951 there. Both drives now run at mostly full speed on both Windows and MacOS.

    Pascal and multi monitors

Thanks @elmacci, I just got back from vacations to see the good news :) I have just tested the latest kext from this thread with the "-ngfxnovarenderer ngfxpatchlist=pikera" boot args and waking up seems fine, however in some of my tests a moment after waking up - the monitor went dark again...

[Solved] Very poor write performance with Samsung SM951 NVME on HFS+ with High Sierra

Thanks @RehabMan! After using hacked kext the result was the same, however it seems that it is my disk/motherboard issue as the same is now happening after return to Sierra :(

[Solved] Very poor write performance with Samsung SM951 NVME on HFS+ with High Sierra

Hi, I have updated directly from Sierra to High Sierra, chose to opt-out of APFS and stick with HFS+. Everything went mostly fine, however I have noticed a very poor system perfomance, especially when writing data to disk. I ran Blackmagic speed test and the write speeds are only ~200MB/s...

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.0 (378.10.10.10.15)

By the way after cd /Volumes/yourHSdiskname/ shouldn't it be sudo touch Library/Extensions/ System/Library/Extensions/ so that user executing those commands from another system would target the correct directories in the /Volumes/yourHSdiskname/ and not the ones in the root of the...

Report your NVIDIA Web Driver and CUDA issues and I'll pass them on to the developers

I also have a problem with monitors waking from sleep / not even starting randomly on boot: Everything worked fine on GTX 970. The whole thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/pascal-and-multi-monitors.227320/ I would be very grateful if you'll report this to nVidia :)

    Pascal and multi monitors

Hi @elmacci, sadly changing ports did nothing for me. Tried patching graphics SSDT and the system seems a bit more stable on reboots, however still the same problem on each wake attempt. Which SMBIOS are you using? Have you tried iMac 17.1, 14.2, MacPro 5.1 (not sure about the last one though)?

Yup, sounds like exactly the same issue. Also made a switch from 970, starting to regret it a little now

    Pascal and multi monitors

Hello everyone! I have just recently upgraded from GTX 970 to Zotac GTX 1080 TI and that's when the problem started. I've got a somewhat uncommon setup as I have got 4 displays connected to my hack: 1 - ASUS 27" 4K monitor via DP 2 - Samsung 27" 1080p monitor/tv via HDMI 3 - Manta 22" 1050p...

Can not boot into OSX anymore "Volume header needs to be repaired"

I got similar problems caused most likely by Paragon, the only way that works for me is to boot OS X from another drive and use DiskWarrior to repair the original drive.

    GTX960 HDMI 2.0 - 4K TV - 30hz only - how to get 60hz?

Finally got my 4k TV to work with GTX 970 - the trick was also the Club 3D cable :) Make sure to create a resolution in SwitchResX to match the exact parameters like in Windows on 4k 60hz (front porch, back porch etc):!:
