Hi everyone,
My Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H became bogus and corrupted its dual bios! It had served me well since 2013 for my hackintosh. I must say that the install using that board was a breeze.
Nevertheless I could only find a 2nd hand motherboard but it is an Asrock Z77 Extreme4. I spent time in the...
Man I have been searching that for a couple of years ! I had the feeling it was somehow related to the UTC GMT. Great. It is only on Tonymacx86 that we can find brillant people ! Thank you so much.
Hi All,
I have a dual boot between Win10 and El-Capitan. I am switching from one to another constantly. What I noticed is that the Clock of my computer under BIOS and El-Capitan is always right (I am on GMT+2).
However when I log to Windows, the clock always resets to GMT! I have to manually...
I confirmed I was suffering of this problem and uncheck "put hard drive to sleep" solved it. Thank you very much.
Oddly, after that action followed by a finder restart then reboot, OS X could not boot up: kernel panic. Turning off the computer then ON again and it rebooted normal.
Now I have to...
I have also an issue to install Yosemite over Maverick. The installer does not go until the end and it reboots to Maverick.
I tried unibeast method as well but it hangs.
I am now redownloading the Yosemite.
How did you created your log?
This would be better with a definition/description of each settings/drivers and some preconfigured script per motherboard. Eventually an auto detection could figure out the main board and graphic cards then proposes a predefined scripts based from community experience.
Hi I have this board rev 1,0. . Audio is all fine. No issue this is standard 898 realtek. Pay attention where you plug the line outs as it would be different with windows. if you dual boot Windows reassign the line out to the right ones using the realtek utility,
That is all
Just an advice. Mount the air fan of the waterblock from out (cold) to inside case and preferably in push mode. So that gives: outside case -> fan -> radiator -> inside case
In m'y case I noticed that windows 8 was closing in hibernation mode by default. This keeps the NTFS partition to be locked. Then MacOS cannot boot.
try to fully shutdown under windows then boot under MacOS.
Try to boot in verbose mode -v and report here the error message. Also you can try -v -x in order to keep minimal the number of service started. Follow tips that others have used to debug their boot.
Regards.
