Let's Create New themes for Clover ... New Bootcamp theme inside

@Bijo - congratulations a very nice theme and it works well with R1659 - If the text were slightly larger and bold it would be great - I like the "simple " uncluttered look. I am looking at it with a res of 2560X1440 so likely why text looks small... Great work. Why not submit it to Slice over...

Clover is totally open source and its is free - no donations requested at all, you are just asked to think about what you have and what you need - and the latest stable revisions can be found on sourceforge.net. Enjoy guys. http://sourceforge.net/projects/cloverefiboot/

ML: Native Ivy Bridge CPU and GPU Power Management

You are likely best to go to the forum/website of the model of GTX670 you own and ask there, as apparently not all makes of the GTX670 have bios chips that will support EFI.

ML: Native Ivy Bridge CPU and GPU Power Management

@Toleda, Thank you for the very comprehensive reply - appreciated. I do not pretend to be an expert in OSX and sometimes the vagaries and egos of the personalities involved make understanding somewhat difficult. But some months ago i was of the impression that the boardID was an important...

ML: Native Ivy Bridge CPU and GPU Power Management

@Toleda I am very grateful for your help on another forum. I am using Clover with UEFI booting (CSM Disabled), I am also using a modded DSDT to sort out the USB3 multiplexing. The issue I have is that Clover correctly identifies my HD4000 o/b graphics 0:509 0:000 PCI (00|00:02.00) : 8086...

Guide - Fusion Drive using tonymacx86 Tools & Chimera

I discovered that the only way to completely remove the Fusion Drive info is to use Gparted live and completely erase both disks that was used by Fusion. I just erased the disks completely, rebooted into OSX and then reformatted them as untitled 1 & 2 and recreated the Fusion from there. The...

    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

Hi - the secret is to download clover selecting only the UEFI option and load it on an MBA formatted usb stick making sure that ALL the boot files it loads are removed as these are NOT required for UEFI - they are often hidden. Just copy the attached file unzipped to a USB stick and ensure your...

    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

I would have thought others users might jump in here to help you, but seemingly not. You DO NOT even need the modded BIOS if you use Clover, as that takes care of the AsusAICPUPM in the Clover config.plist, but Chameleon will not run. I would suggest you search out Kynnder 's post at OSx86, he...

    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

I hate to tell you this but some versions of the Sabertooth Z77 have problems with the USB flashback. Mine originally had problems and I had to RMA it to get one that worked. What has to be noted is that the button one presses to initialize the BIOS Flashback if pushed too hard can remain in...

    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

Hi Robert, Thank you, yes I know that and I am running Clover with the latest BIOS. But the Modded BIOS is useful as without it Chameleon is obsolete. The new BIOS is interesting as Asus has changed some of the BIOS setting, and in some cases the defaults are not the same as before as it is now...

Create a "Fusion Drive" on your CustoMac

Hi In your EFI directory you have your config.plist. However during the install Clover inserts another config.plist in the EFI/OEM/SystemProductName directory which it appears it always defaults to - ignoring the main one. You have two options 1. Delete the config.plist in the...

Create a "Fusion Drive" on your CustoMac

Yep disk0 and disk1 are correct. Hackintosh Version of OSX 10.8.2 is 12C2034 which is the amended version for the retina Display MacBook Pro, while my real MacMini5,3 is running 10.8.2 version 12C60 - Mhh I wonder whether that is the problem. Diskutil Last login: Mon Nov 5 21:48:42 on...

Hi Mrengles. Thanks for this excellent guide, I have managed to load "Fusion on my 2011 real Mac mini without any problems as it contains an SSD and a hard drive - it appears to work very well. Wish i could say the same about the Hackintosh, as that has similar SSD and drives to the MacMini...
