To explain further, have it end up looking like this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/70122013/pictures/progress_bar_full.png
otherwise i'd settle for that round spinning loading thing like http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/7772/dsc2314.jpg
so I have it almost exactly as I want it. basically mimicking the bootcamp load screen.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/70122013/pictures/IMG_20120924_150803.jpg
but i'd like to add rounded corners to the loading thing, the right side would just start as the gray half circle no fill. the left...
Unfortunately, I don't have an extra drive until I can find a second SATA cable to transfer everything I backed up to this second drive back to my SSD. Also, I don't think this board is in the User Builds, no results from search.
I'm About 99.9% sure I used the correct Multibeast Settings...
I patched the bios thanks to samisnake and deleted NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and all that jazz.
Using an i3-3225 and HD 4000 Graphis, 8GB RAM, and a 120GB SSD if that matters any. Used EasyBeast, no DSDT, I was told I didn't need one for z77, and everything else works flawlessly.

Here is a modified bios.
Will update with a good DSDT and everything once I get sleep working flawlessly.
I have Audio, LAN, Bluetooth (via adapter), Airplay to Apple TV 3, HD 4000 Graphics, and everything else working well.
Just got setup on my Asrock Z77M board with an i3-3225
with GraphicsEnabler=no it boots fine but only 1024x600 or whatever.
I tried changing the boot.plist or whatever and changing the bios settings best i could find. but when it boots its really weird looking and actually displays twice...
Unrelated but do you have LAN and Sleep and stuff working, dispite the slow boot times?
I'm tempted to buy the Asrock Z77 Extreme4, but don't want it to be a major uphill battle against getting a compairable gigabyte board.
Could you upload your DSDT?
I have a very similar build to OP with a 5770 and an i3 2100, so airplay doesnt work because i need hd3000 also. Guess I'll have to get a 2105 or something. Thanks I asked this same question and got no answer.
Well that ruins the crap out of my plans. Can you reccomend a cheapppp gpu? like a GT 210 or something?
Will next gen Pentiums be supported, I think they have Intel 2500 or something? *hoping*
Right now I have:
Asus P8P67-M Pro
i3 2100
HD 5770
I want to swap out that mobo with one from the customac reccomended list, namely: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007R21JJ0/
and I will be putting the i3 into another rig, so that will get an Intel G630 or maybe a new Ivy Bridge...
I've gotten my Apple TV (3) to stream music, but it isnt showing up as another monitor to stream my monitor/video to.
i3 2100, 8gb ram, HD 5770, running mountain lion should be more than enough to handle this.
Any suggestions?
Re: Help! Sleep - P8P67-M Pro, i3 2100, 5770

Edit: Closer, hdd spins down, about 15 seconds later the fans...
