This is a weird one and I'm hoping someone might be able to help...
I recently upgraded my build based on Slugnet's video editor from Yosemite to El Capitan and everything seems to be running fine except that my X-Rite i1Display Pro colour profiler no longer works (plugged into USB socket)...
FIXED: I had already installed Ev0Reboot and no joy. I just did one more hard reset and then it's started working. Everything seems to be working flawlessly now. Thanks for all of your help - really appreciated :)
Tried this and still no joy. My system just won't restart or shutdown.
It looks like something is crashing Finder as it's shutting down as the toolbar is still there and I can open other applications still - but finder has crashed.

So booted with -f repaired disk permissions etc. with kext wizard and I could shut down.
Rebooted again without -f and same problem.
Did a reinstall - all fine. Added Mutibeast 7.2.0 settings and can't shut down again...
Something in Multibeast is screwing things up. Going to go step by...
I'm installing on a Sandisk Extreme 240gb SSD. But the Trim patch stopped the system from booting. Could not having it enabled be the reason why it isn't shutting down?
I'm using multibeast 5.2.0
I've just upgraded to Yosemite with my Slugnet's Video Editor build (GA-Z77X-UD5H, i7-3770k, Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Ti) and I'm having a couple of annoying problems with this build.
First install I got the grey screen with crossed out circle - but reinstalled and this time didn't click trim...
