Thanks for this, it's working well so far with my GAZ97X-UD5H. One question: when I boot, I get a verbose log before the Mac desktop appears (and OC boot loader never appears). How can I get the Mac to skip the verbose and boot into the boot loader? Sorry - I only update 1x/year and I forget...
Thanks Foster - I went back and looked at the backup EFI folder on the root of my drive and realized that I did have other memory fix drivers there. I guess updating Clover deletes those drivers. My system is now up and continuing the installation. Very much appreciated.
I have these in my drivers folder:
Drivers\UEFI has
apfs.efi
apfsdriverloader-64.efi
apfsdriverloader.efi
Aren't these the memory fix drivers? These were working under Mojave
The first part of the installation worked fine. On reboot to clover, no matter which option I choose (install to catalina or boot to catalina) I get a black screen. I'm using HDMI cable. I've tried plugging into my Radeon RX 580 card as well as the MOBO HDMI port with the same results. I removed...
Please help. I got to this step:
I then re-booted and now none of my USB ports are working so I can't use mouse or keyboard to login. Prior to going through the testing process, USB2 was working but my USB3 ports were working erratically (slow, some not working at all).
I have USB ports at...
This is what I get when I insert still images into FCPX. Any idea what could cause this? My video imports are not affected at all. This happens to every still image regardless of size, shape, resolution, etc.
I'm on High Sierra 10.13.4
32 GB ram
2.49 GHz i5 processor
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760...
back from vacation - restarted with a new installation of yosemite. Same problem, although now I can stream a vr movie from plex to my iphone with no problems, but if I try to stream the same vr movie to a vr app on my iphone (i.e. Mobile VR Station) my computer reboots itself every time.
Didn't last long. Back to rebooting as soon as I start streaming. I also tried with 100% home-created video (so no DRM). Same results. What log should I post to help troubleshoot?
I removed EmuVariableUefi-64.efi from my EFI partition and I am now able to stream from Plex without rebooting. However, I now have a problem starting up - I was connected to my monitor via HDMI cable but now I have to use a DVI cable else I get a black screen on startup. This is a much better...
I'll try removing Drivers64UEFI tonight
As for DRM - I have tried the same movies on a genuine mac and they stream from plex on that computer with no problem
I upgraded to a brand new 800W power supply (overkill). Same problem
I tried swapping RAM and confirmed compatibility. Same problem
This happens within seconds after a fresh boot if I start streaming from plex to my iphone, even if the computer has been off all night, so I doubt it's a...
