Hey bud! We have the same exact set up but for the life of me I can't get this black screen, I do everything like you say and when I click the external drive to install mac i get a crash and get a reboot, why isn't this working for me, we literally have the same set up :banghead::banghead:

im new to hackintosh, but i got the operating system installed using unibeast - mountain lion 1.6.1. mountain lion installed no problem, but when i got to the desktop the audio and network didnt work. i tried using the multibeast mountain lion edition but im totally lost on what to do from here...
