A great guide! I miss my Z77 DS3H. It was my first Hackintosh, having run Mavericks through High Sierra. Reminds me of a ton of restarts, kext patches, and Clover migrations...thank you for the post, OP!

    [Success] - Asus ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming + i9 10900K + OpenCore

Great info. Much appreciated. What's your thought about OC? I tried it on my i9-9900k based build but it ran somewhat laggy in certain situations. For instance, StarCraft Remastered was noticeably showing delays after button clicks.

    [SUCCESS] iMac 4K - GA Z390 Gaming X, i9-9900K, VEGA 56

Timsnart's Build: GA Z390 Gaming X, i9-9900K, RADEON VEGA 56 If you are willing to use Apple Final Cut, you MUST turn on the internal graphics card option with 128MB even if you had a discrete graphics card. (FCP utilized both chips to render preview and stuff) MultiBeast Settings I am...

Is Gigabyte Vega 56 a bad idea?

A big shock from a huge price bump on Sapphire Vega 56. It used to be around $300 just 3-4 weeks ago but not it's over 470 dollars now. Therefore, I am thinking of some alternative Vega 56 cards with lower price but still with decent compatibility with Hackintosh. Any suggestions? I am going to...

Apple Unveils Redesigned Mac Pro Desktop and Pro Display XDR at WWDC

Apple used to make great quality polycarbonate cases back in the late 90s, fully expandable. Not sure why they make unnecessarily over the top cases for pro line. It will be another fail, even worse than the trash can Macs.

GIGABYTE Z170N Gaming 5 WiFI + Bluetooth Broadcom chips

Great! Thanks! I just looked at the motherboard and could not understand how this is going through M.2 slot. It seems I have just 1/10" space between the m2 and RAM slots. Will I need a vertical converter or something? Did you end up using m2 to PCI-e card or directly to m2 slot?

GIGABYTE Z170N Gaming 5 WiFI + Bluetooth Broadcom chips

Dell DW1830 BCM943602BAED Does anyone have any experience with that card above? Would it be giving full Wi-fi and BT over the motherboard? I am thinking to buy one for my m.2 slot.

What Monitor or Display Do You Use?

glad to see someone like me. I've been using the monitor since 2013. still working good. but i had to buy a new AC adapter. the cord is very thin so needs a good care. also the touch panel on the display is getting less sensitive. I'd buy a Dell 5k in the future.

Yosemite - all Atheros AR8151 solutions are unstable

Hi, mine is Z77-DS3H rev1.1 with Chimera on Yosemite. have experienced the same network speed slowdown so followed your direction but it seems AtherosL1CEthernet 1.2.3 doesn't recognize my built-in LAN chip. (only ethernet and serial modem port show up in network system preferences) so...

weird dots on top of the screen, HELP!

just to make it clear... the reason i mentioned the old clover (r1717) was because the EFI folder backup was up and running perfect last summer. since the newest builds are causing the weird dot issues to me, I tried put the old ones into the EFI but the same crap on the screen now. pretty...
