    [SUCCESS] Ventura on i9-10850K Z490M Gaming X

Any update would be amazing. Around the Rom editor, it was more me asking if I'd need to create a custom ROM, but hopefully it'll just work.

    [SUCCESS] Ventura on i9-10850K Z490M Gaming X

Thanks so much. So to install Ventura on a Z490 GamingX with an i5 and the onboard graphics I should just use that whole EFI folder and populate the Serial Number, MLB, System UUID and ROM? I note your specs in the side bar now list an RX6900, rather than the 5600 that you fixed the fan...

Getting started with Big Sur and Opencore on gigabyte z490m gaming x - Problems

So, with the above corrected in my EFI (attached earlier) I get the boot menu which allows me to select the USB installer, I then get a bunch of verbose output and then eventually it goes black and thinks about things for ages without ever bringnig up the Big Sur installer. Out of curiousity...

Getting started with Big Sur and Opencore on gigabyte z490m gaming x - Problems

Thanks for the really quick reply, but that's not making any difference. Here's what I've got alread, secure boot wasn't enabled. And neither Secure boot mode (Standard or Custom) makes a difference. EDIT - removed unnecessary BIOS shot where I misinterpreted the instruction above!

Hi, trying to give Big Sur a go on a new system and encountering Opencore for the first time. I've looked at both Aufera's great thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-gigabyte-z490m-gaming-x-i9-10850k-rx580-opencore-0-7-3-4k-big-sur-11-6-video-editing.310153/ and the dortania...

    [Success] Gigabyte Z490M Gaming X - i9 10850K - RX580 - OpenCore 0.9.1 4k - Ventura 13.3.1 - Video Editing

Hi, I'm trying this with a Z490M Gaming X and a i5 10600 and the onboard graphics. Don't suppose you can point me at the right place in BIOS to Enable VT-x? I can find where to disable VT-d?

I assume that after booting from the installer created with this method it should reasonably quickly get to the standard installer screen? I get white on black apple screen for a good twenty minutes.

Help request - HP ProBook 430 G3 - High Sierra - 10.13.4 - (Nearly there but audio issues)

Thanks. Any hints about how and where I make that change? Or the specific tool/area that I need to read to learn how to do it? Is it literally as simple as opening config.plist with textedit and changing the value there and rebooting? Cheers!

I've recently been trying to install 10.13.4 on an HP 430 G3. The 3 threads below have some great information and I've read through all of them but as I'm just picking up basic understanding as I got a little confused by about the relevant with similar threads about where to start with the 3...

[Guide] HP ProBook 430 G3 (SkyLake) - High Sierra

Thanks again for the direction, I'm most of the way there now and will put together a short post on the whole process once I'm done. Main things to resolve at the moment are: * Getting the headphone port working - at the moment audio still goes out the speakers and not headphones when they...
