    Looks like a common problem after and/or during installation. I have mine hanging on this message after installation and booting up to Maverick. Hopefully, this issue get proper attention.

    Here's the line where it get stuck in verbose mode. My setup worked fine with ML. (Asrock Z77 Extreme4, GeForce GTS 450, I5-3790K, Samsung 840 Pro 256GB). Thanks in advance for the help!

    i need help to get rid of the -x flag at the boot prompt. i always have to go the chimera prompt to erase the "-x" flag otherwise it will boot in safe mode. thanks!
