I started all over with my backup of 10.6.7. I put a copy of the working AppleHDA.kext on my desktop. Software updated to 10.6.8. Went to S/L/E and threw new AppleHDA.kext in trash. Used Kext Beast to install the working AppleHDA.kext from my desktop and....TaDA!! File attached

Having similar problems. I get a Geekbench of 10800 and an Xbench of 270 but whenever I try to overclock either things don't work out or my scores go down 40-50% Still a mystery
