I'm actually quite interested in this because I'm just about to buy the Z97 gaming 7 for gigabyte and I see a lot of success with 9 series lately on the forum...
In my post when I get the hardware and do the installation I will do a very similar guide as you did, very detailed and a lot of information.
By the way Sir, why did you choose the gt over the gaming 7? I think there are not a lot of differences apart from something related to the pci lines.
I...
I just can't thank you enough Sir, I'm building a very similar system (the main difference been that I'm using the gaming 7 instead of your gaming GT) and your progress is incredible, so useful, in special when we consider that I'm a very big noob, this build of mine is my first hackintosh...
Wow, what a fast answer! My doubt was in the fact that this controller seems quite problematic and I've seen others trying to make it work by manually installing kexts, but I'll give it a try in MultiBeast and see if it works with that. Thank you so much Sir.
I'm planning on buying this mobo and I'd like to know if any of you have been able to make ethernet work since it's not an intel controller, is the Atheros Killer E2201.
Thank you.
What an awesome thread, a ton of information.
I started a thread in which people like us with this hardware could start a discussion, see if this series of hardware is working properly and see the progress each one of us make.
Please if any of you could post here...
Great hardware selection .
I'm building with your same motherboard and I started a thread in which people like us with this hardware could start a discussion, see if this piece of hardware is working properly and see the progress each one of us make.
This is the link of the thread I...
Thank you so much for your effort, much appreciated.
I have one question for you Sir, how is power management working for you? Can you sleep and wake? Is every power function working? And, what did you do in order to get in working?
Thanks again for your support.
Awesome progress for your part, I`m building with the same mobo and processor as yours and your info is very precious for me.
I started a thread in wich I want everyone that has this motherboard to post their progress so everyone that uses this mobo can find fast information about this one...
I'm actually using the 4790k because it's near the same price than the 4770k but better and I will use a gt 630; given the situation that I use a z87 board (let's say the Z87X-UD4H) do you think Yosemite installation would be much of a hassle?
Thanks for all the answers to my questions:).
I'm buying components for my new hackintosh and I'm thinking very seriously about this series of mobos, in special the gaming 7, and because the info about that present in this awesome forum is disperse I thought that would be good to have a main thread were people with this component could...
And what about he installation process and getting it to work? For the absolute ton of research that I've been doing it seems that z87 continuous to be way easier than z97.
Thank you very much for your reply Sir.
I just posted a few days ago a question about this very motherboard, it suits my color scheme and I prefer it against the z87 ones.
This is my post if you'd like to check it out: http://www.tonymacx86.com/buying-advice/146929-thinking-about-buying-ga-z97x-gaming-7-a.html
Hi, I'm putting together a new system with the core i7 4770K, and I was just going to buy the Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H, but I saw the release of the new 9 series boards and the new features. I've seen some people trying this board and I'd like to hear your opinion on this one guys (in special the...
Do you think that this memory (http://www.amazon.es/dp/B007V9PZFI/?tag=tonymacx86c03-21) would work with the UD4H?
It's supported on the official page of the memory so in theory it should to work...
Thank you very much for your help sir.
Before I tell you guys my problem I’d like to give you a little introduction to my self so you can understand this situation better: this year I’m going to be in my first year of college and my daily used workstation is 6 years old now so I thought that it’s time for an upgrade; because I wanted...
