Had it installed in clover 10.10 kext folder but for some reason it didn't want to load it. Installed fakesmc with kext utility. Everything works now, thanks again
thanks dude, requested files are attached
That's incredibly odd. I applied the layoutid patch to my DSDT and updated clover folder yet the extracted dsdt shows that it is not patched. wtf?
I read it. I payed special attention to the HDA section and I have done all those things. My applehda. Kext uses layout Id 3 and my dsdt layout is set to 3 as well. My audio codec ID was extracted from a Linux dump and patched into the kext. Could you be more specific? My codec is Realtek AlC269VB
I applied:
"HPET Fix"
"SMBUS Fix"
"IRQ Fix"
"RTC Fix"
"OS Check Fix"
"Fix Mutex with non-zero SyncLevel"
"Fix PNOT/PPNT"
"Add IMEI"
and nothing has changed. I still need applehdaenabler.kext to change my layoutid otherwise it is 0
ASUS N53SV Applehda patching 10.10.2
My layout id is always equal to 0 unless i use HDAEnabler.kext
I tried changing the layout ID with clover and DSDT. Neither worked.
Once I got the correct layout ID with HDAEnabler, My ioreg shows that the layout is correct but the pin configurations...
Disabled USB Legacy support in my bios and now USB ports work! Is there a kext update for 10.10?
Checked sourceforge and only saw a 10.9 kext(which I'm using)

Ok I gave up on UEFI booting. Which is why I tried the second install. It fixed the boot0af error but now I'm getting a Kernel panic(see previous post)

I upgraded to yosemite via unibeast. I had to boot from the usb stick because my bootloader kept saying can't find kernel_mach. So the installation went smooth but the problem is that in order to boot into yosemite, I...
Upgraded laptop, everything works perfect except for sleep functionality...
I have nativeCPUPowermanagement and sleep via a BIOS modification. 10.9.3 slept like a baby..10.9.4 not so much.
Once I put the computer to sleep, it instantly wakes up.
