Starting to think I should just downgrade to mountain lion again. Not enough features in Yosemite that make it worth the issues I've been having with this system.

Since I've upgrade to Yosemite, I can't get my dvd tray to open from the eject button on the Apple Keyboard. The system recognizes the drive. I get the blank disc pop up. Hopefully it's something basic I'm missing.

I used Multibeast 5.1.2 for sound and used Realtek ALC8xx>without dsdt>ALC887/888b>v100202 Legacy (75% sure, forgot to write it down lol) or the current. Either way, audio seems to work after sleep with that multibeast and settings... so far.

A -v at Chimera would help to see where it is getting stuck at.

Sorry if I missed it in the thread but I have a similar build. I'm trying to get the USB 3.0 ports on the front of my case to recognize USB 2.0. Any suggestions?

I set it to what omegia suggested, and that didn't change. I think it's the game. I downloaded a game from the app store and it went full screen without any problems...

Tried both suggestions, same results. Not sure about trying windowed mode, that would probably work however I don't think I can get to that point without being able to see the screen.

m I can boot just fine to ML and do basic things, but if I try to mirror or play a game, the screen scrambles and distorts. I'm using a z77-ds3h with hd4000 using a i3770.ive tried both the tvs with same results.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem?
