After update, boot stuck at timeout AppleACPICPU. I had r4798 Clover. I removed drive and put into another computer, and installed clover r4862 and put drive back into computer and booted fine. Clover update seems required.
ComboUpdate installer shows this:
"macOS 10.14.3 Update can't be installed on this disk. This volume does not meet the requirements for this update."
Regular installer seems fine and is allowing install.
SSD Drive is APFS and 10.14.2 installed with 155GB free.
interesting. only started after I removed CsmVideoDxe-64.efi to get win 10 and clover to play nice.
with CsmVideoDxe-64.efi the apfs verbose doesn't show.
but then clover won't boot with win 10 attached.
I am using the apple included version of apfs.
ok I figured it out. I have been using CsmVideoDxe-64 to make the clover window look nice and be the correct resolution. worked fine with el capitain and windows 10, sierra and windows 10. but with high sierra and windows 10 and clover 4380 and then 4392 it will not allow booting a second time...
I manually added the fix headers when booting the installer.
Options>ACPI Patching>DSDT fix mask>Check Fix Header
Leave Nvidia checked, if you have geforce.
It Restarts
Check fix header again, uncheck Nvidia Web
Then should continue installing
Black screen after bios screen, clover doesn't boot.

boot with USB installer ok.
this z77x-up5 th was running 10.11.6 fine with win10 connected.
bios pointing to the uefi mac ssd drive like before.
why would windows 10 SSD drive sometimes block clover from booting?
why...

Clover won't boot Legacy MBR Windows 7 on old boards (workaround - gave up and installed EFI)
Going Bald, thanks for your help. I gave up on legacy. This old board does to work with Clover legacy boot. This board also does not want to boot clover from a usb. Tried new unibeast and made my...
Going Bald, the board is an old Intel D975XBX2 which is bios only. If the board supported uefi I would install windows as efi. Since the board is bios only I don't want to try to trick install efi because it would not boot without clover and most posts say do not install windows with another...

I tried reinstalling clover using CloverEFI 64-bits BiosBlockIO. this made clover not load at all.
had to boot using USB drive to reinstall using the CloverEFI 64-bits SATA
I tried installing clover boot0ss in mbr on the System Reserved drive. that did not help clover boot windows 7 legacy...
Going Bald, thanks for the response.
You are pointing to the System Reserved partition to start windows?
Are you using a path in a custom entry in Clover config?
If so, what path?
Any idea why Clover shows a legacy icon and does not boot after selecting Windows?
