I believe you have to download and launch the macOSPublicBetaAccessUtility.dmg which will open app store and provide latest beta download available. You can Google it but think you have go login into your beta account...

There is a macOS High Sierra public beta access utility you need to download. Just Google search for it... When you run it your App Store will Auto open with the latest Beta available to download

Alright... Got Beta 2 to work without too much effort however, Beta 3 made me give up (for awhile) after frittering away a couple of mornings. Both as upgrade to 2 and clean install from newly created USB boot disk. Will try using some of your logic Thanks in advance (I hope)

Funny was working fine from December build but after Samsung SSD failed I reinstalled fresh and migrated from backup and wake from sleep only successful from power button. Must have fixed it in December.... Thanks simple fix but lesson learned write down all your install procedures just in case...
