Hi, I am trying to install on my HP dv5 but the installer always freezes at Apple logo and running circle....but does go ahead. At ideas why?

Hi, I am trying to install ML on my HP dv5, but it always gets stuck at the Apple logo with the wait cursor....I have tried leaving the machine in that state for almost 40 mins and nothing happens. I am using "CPUS=1 -F" as boot arguments. Any ideas? Regards Ujjubond
